I just don't understand how so many people could be having such a game-breaking bug, and Bethesda still hasn't released a patch for it, roughly a year later!ĭoes someone have a complete list of all setstage commands for this questline? Barring the load order (xx), of course.ĮDIT: Additionally, can anyone who managed to make it through this quest without a single problem speak out? I'm genuinly curious who was lucky enough to avoid this. I can't actually talk to him like the quest is telling me to because he's been stuck on this one line since I entered the damn vault. There doesn’t seem to be a fix for this, and I suspect it is because my console is simple unable to cope with the strain of. I progressed through the first mission: The Silo, and upon exiting Hopeville Missile Bunker, the game crashes. "Well, it's about time the police sent someone out the investigate." Over and over again! I have Fallout NV for Xbox 1 and just recently downloaded Lonesome Road. The door to it was locked, so was the one to the left of the Vault entrance (interior) and no key "no problem, I can get past this too", I use the unlock command and gain access to the crime scene after the small argument, I check the scene and find the smashed jar, and blood, but no baseball bat in sight, "Okay, so I'll go back to Maxwell", no dice. So the vault door opened for me before I learned that was a bug, I guess I got lucky that's when I ran into Maxwell's loop, bypassing that with a setstage command, I went to check out the crime scene well. I understand this is a Bethesda game, they pretty much build their games making sure there's a few bugs, but they usually iron out the game breaking ones but seriously? No fixes Bethesda!? After searching for a while longer, I found that there's been multiple bugs with this questline but again, no actual fixes for anything.
So I came across the Maxwell loop bug and decided to search for a fix to this, I found others having this problem from 2016, but no actual fixes.
